OK RocketMaster, now I have to remove Julia Stiles from my list cause I forgot about Neve Campbell. And yes that picture looks strangely like Gine in Prey For Rock And Roll, which just so happens to be sitting at home waiting to be watched along with Pieces Of April (Katie Holmes). Katie would be on my list if we made it a top 20 list. [img]wink.gif[/img] Linda C. on my list is from Freaks & Geeks and she plays Velma in the Scooby Doo movies. Vicki Zhao was in a Hong Kong action picture that I picked up called So Close.
I used to love Holly Marie Combs until I met her. I haven't met anyone on my list. You met a few on yours, didn't you?
I saw Vanessa Redgrave in the Rite Aid the other day. At least I think it was her, but she didn't look as old as she does on screen...she's still alive right? [img]wink.gif[/img] Did I tell you I bumped into the "blue" lady a couple of weeks ago? Ugh, I am not going to be nice to her a n y m o r e.
I was thinking of seeing Secret Window this weekend! Johnny Depp = boring??? I dunno, Foz, I don't think we like the same films. Maybe will see that or Hidalgo, or the new Kate Winslet one with Jim Carrey if it's out. I wanna see Kate with pink hair.
The Hellboy previews I saw looked like it stole the current "Marvel formula". Very X-Men-ish, with a storyline that looks like the plot of the TV series Angel.
Did anyone watch that Dawn of the Dead preview? I was working and missed it. And by the way, I love ID-4. I die laughing every time I see the bit with Brent Spiner. He did that unsocialized nerd thing so perfectly...must have modeled it on people he met at Trek conventions!
I mentioned it above, but totally forgot about it last night! [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img] Decided to watch the first two LOTR movies last night & was planning to see ROTK today, but I started around 3:30pm & didn't finish till around 10:30pm. I was too burned out on the two movies to get out for the third one this morning.... [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img] You get around to seeing it Fozzy? Barely matters though, as it only comes out in 3 days.
Yes indeed, RocketMaster i've met Amber Benson and Allison Mack from my list. And if we were doing doing a top 20 i'd add Natalie Portman too.
Unfortunately I missed out on meeting Selma Blair.

And yes Secret Window was boring beyond belief. I couldn't wait for it to end as I really hate to walk out on a movie after spending my good money on it. There are 3 movies that i'd like to see this coming weekend...Taking Lives, Dawn Of The Dead & Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Speaking of Marvel movies, i'm a little disappointed that they decided to hold up the release of the extended version of Daredevil.
Maybe they want to release it near the opening of the upcoming Elektra movie?!

You HATED Daredevil! Why would you buy it then?
Well, I should talk....I bought HULK on DVD even though the previews looked like garbage. Usually I am fanatic about going through each and every tidbit on the DVDs, but with Hulk, I barely got through one viewing of the movie, never mind the extras. Couldn't stand it...even with the beautiful Jennifer Connelly...hey wait, I forgot to put Jennifer Connelly on my list!!! [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]
Anyway, anyone want to trade my HULK 2 Disk Special Edition DVD for a DVD of something like, say...League of Extraordinary Gents ...or... Independence Day...or....????
Talked to a guy last night at the KWOON signing who saw a preview of HELLBOY. He said it was fantastic. Very faithful to the book.."if you like the book you'll like the movie". Also said the character design was awesome and the only drawback was that 'the bad guys were not very well-defined characters, but neither are they in the book.'
Yes, I did hate Daredevil, but it's a "special edition director's cut". [img]smile.gif[/img] hehe

OK, I took Fozzy's advice & watched ROTK on the big screen. Worth the price of a ticket, but even at three & 1/2 hours, still noticed many places which needed to be extended. I'll just wait till November before seeing it again...
OH, and just to cheese-off Rocky. The big megaplex theatre I visit happens to be (stupidly) located directly across the street from ANOTHER megaplex theatre! So their prices are quite reasonable. Before 5:00pm, their matinee showings, tickets are only $5.75. $10? Sucker!! [img]wink.gif[/img]
